At Fitness World in Durham, North Carolina, we have the latest technology to keep you entertained while you workout.

We have six High Definition Phillips (and Vizio) 42in1080p LCD flat screen TVs in our large, open cardio room. You will be able to watch your favorite shows, find out the score of last night's game, and be informed about the latest local and national news all in the crystal clear clarity of HD and all during your workout!

In addition to the HD televisions in the Cardio Room, we also have two High Definition Vizio 47in 1080p LCD flat screen TVs in our Free Weights area and our Circuit Training area. So now, no matter what you are working on, you will always have access the shows you want in High Def. Some of the HD channels currently available are ESPN HD^©, ESPN 2^© and ESPNU HD^©, HGTV HD^©, Discovery HD^©, Food HD^©, all local channels in high def, plus many more!

With any great video picture, high quality audio is just as important. Tired of reading closed captions, or not being able to hear what is happening on your show? Well, here at Fitness World, we have solved that problem with the Cardio Theater^© System. Attached to every piece of equipment in our cardio room, is a small receiver. This receiver allows you to plug in any normal pair of headphones to receive sound from the TVs. You can choose which TV you want to hear and adjust your own individual volume control. This advanced audio system allows for very little interference, and doesn't require you to bring in any extra bulky equipment.
